Sega is adding what they call a 'Majima Everywhere' system that turns everyone's favorite yakuza psycho into an It Follows type nemesis. We've covered this new feature but now we have even more details on this gonzo mechanic Yakuza KiwamiIn a new post on the, Sega localization producer Scott Strichart explained that in addition to the game going on pre-order, Kiwami will be bringing the Majima Everywhere mechanic to just seriously mess up your Yakuza playthrough in the best way possible.Basically, Yakuza Kiwami has decided to add Majima Goro as a random fight encounter that can be triggered at any time throughout your playthrough of Kiwami.'
I won't even begin to spoil all the incredible, sometimes hilarious, encounters with Majima, but early on in the game, you'll be notified that 'Officer' Majima is working the beat by the Millennium Tower, and he's on the lookout for anyone carrying any suspicious weapons. Try swinging by the area with a knife, gun, or maybe a frozen tuna on your person.
You won't be disappointed.' There are benefits to fighting Majima whenever he appears. IRVINE, Calif. - April 22, 2020 - Xbox players finally have a chance to see where the legendary Yakuza series all began, with the release of Yakuza Kiwami on Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and Windows 10 today!
A ground-up remake of 2005's Yakuza, Yakuza Kiwami picks up where Yakuza 0 leaves off, and puts players back in the snakeskin shoes of series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu. After facing a 10-year prison sentence for a crime he didn't commit, he's released into a world he no longer recognizes, alone and expelled from his former yakuza family. Shortly after his release, he encounters a mysterious girl named Haruka, who may be the key to the answers Kiryu seeks.
