Perhaps more accurately, it could have been real, as FDG Entertainment has revealed that DuckTales QuackShot was a real game pitch rejected by Disney.Many had questioned how screenshots for an April Fool were of such high-quality, and it seems they were right to.

FDG Entertainment, the publisher of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom and Blossom Tales, an alleged new DuckTales game on its Twitter account today, April 1, with Monster Boy dev Game Atelier allegedly developing it. So for now, it seems this DuckTales game is more of a collective dream — one shared by fans and DuckTales' creative team.
